I tried to connect with NAEYC
and couldn’t because my membership is expired at the moment, so I looked for
NAEYC affiliates abroad. I found the
European NAEYC Affiliate and posted on their chat board. I will anxiously await a response.
I also tried to find the World
Forum using the link in our resources section and was unable to get their via
the link, I did an internet search for World Forum Foundation and was able to
find it that way
I am going to explore the
websites listed below for future blog assignments.

Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI find that I often go to the NAEYC website to look up information when having to make decisions about programming. It is, globally, a reputable source for early childhood professionals.
I will be curious to see what type of responses you will receive on the World Forum. Keep us posted.
Thanks for sharing.
Debra
Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI too had an issue with my NAEYC membership. It is amazing how other nations relate to how the see early childhood. I will be curious to see how people respond.
Thanks,
Nicole
Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI chose to do the alternate assignment, so I didn't contact an early childhood professional outside the United States. I am looking forward to reading what you share about you contact with a professional in Europe.
Brenda I was unsuccessful on the interational contacts as well I did attempt to try one but was unsuccessful. So I opted to do the additional assignment as well and I will be leaving to comments tonight to see if I can be in contact with some of the blog pages. I look forward to working with you and seeing some of your responses to global link gave me access to their blogs and their websites and posts that will left on there and I encourage you to try those as well. Have a good evening
ReplyDeleteHi Ms. Brenda,
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are off to a great start. Looking forward to reading your post about the sites you chose. It seems we are all awaiting responses. I think it would be so awesome to establish communication with other educators around the world. Hopefully somebody will be lucky to do part 1 of the blog.
Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteWhat made you decide on the websites that you chose? That is exciting about your awaiting response! I hope they respond and you are able to be in contact with them. I look forward to reading more of your blogs in the future.
Laura
I have read some of the reports in the past coming out from these two organization, but have never really explored them more fully so I thought this would be a good opportunity.
DeleteHi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteMost of the sites I explored have value information but they do want you to have a paying membership to receive more information. I am to know that I am not the only that struggled with this assignment.
Hi
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I chose the Division for Early Childhood as well. I've always had a passion for children with special needs and disabilities and just love how this is their main focus.
